This study aims to determine the role of teacher as a motivator and mentor in shaping discipline children's prayer at Al-Qur'an Education Park Surau Balenggek Sikabu Bukit, Lubuk Alung. (1) Background: The implementation education (TPA) is not going well. Due lack motivation from within students awareness themselves their obligations Muslims establish/perform five daily prayers day night; (2) Methods: research uses qualitative with case approach. With samples TPA teachers field worship morals, Arts. instruments this were interview guides, recording devices, writing instruments, other supporting tools that support process; (3) Results: teacher's santri provide encouragement, assessments, give awards. While guidance, reprimand punishment, advice ibrah/i'tibar. In addition, also applies learning methods, such exemplary habituation, awareness, supervision; (4) Conclusion: motivator: providing assessment, appreciation. mentor: advice, ibrah/i'tibar, applying supervision.
